DIAGNOSTICS
Rehab Evaluation
A thorough evaluation of your dog will be performed prior to beginning canine rehab, this may include slow motion video, palpation, goniometry a method of measuring range of motion, Gulik girthometer for measuring muscle mass of peripheral limbs, strength assessment and if appropriate neurological evaluation.
LASER THERAPY
Therapeutic Laser
Low Level Laser Therapy uses clinically tested wavelengths of light to stimulate natural biological processes promoting faster healing and pain relief. It accomplishes this by stimulating cells which are involved in bone and soft tissue repair, enhancing cellular immunity, improving circulation and releasing endorphins.
ELECTROMAGNETIC THERAPY
Targeted Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (tPEMF)tPEMF therapy uses electromagnetic waves, at specific frequencies to decrease pain from inflammation and accelerate healing by stimulating an animal’s natural recovery mechanisms.
ELECTRICAL STIMULATION
TENS - Transcutaneous Electrical Stimulation
NEMS - Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation
Works using a mild electrical current which can decrease pain, improve circulation, build muscle strength and reduce swelling.
MANUAL/MASSAGE THERAPY
Soft Tissue Work/Manual Therapies
This helps with pain, range of motion and healing.
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture
Is the insertion of thin needles into specific points along the body which assist with pain management, increases blood flow and improved wound healing, to name a few. Acupuncture can help treat such conditions as osteoarthritis, neck and back pain, respiratory issues and nausea.
